FISH CHOPS
​Kolkata Fish Chop Episode#172
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time : 2 hours
Serves TK as a cocktail snack
4-5 Pieces Of Boneless Fish Boiled, Steamed, Poached Flaked
2 Boiled Potatoes Mashed well or SUBSTITUTE with Boiled Avocado for 
5-10 minutes 
1 tablespoon of Chopped Green Chillies or 2 tspns chilly flakes
1Tablespoon Chopped Coriander
1 teaspoon tobacco sauce 
1 bunch scallion 1 bunch coriander leaves
½ juice of lemon 
1 teaspoon Paanch Phoron 
2 teaspoons Cumin Powder
2 teaspoons coriander powder
1teaspoon garam masala OR All Spice
teaspoon fennel powder 
1 teaspoon white pepper powder 
1 teaspoon chaat masala Juice of ½ a lemon 

For the COATING 
1 CUP BREADCRUMBS
2 EGGS
1 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
In a nonstick pan add oil.Boil potatoes.Add chopped onions fry till golden brown. Add 1 tablespoon ginger paste 1 tablespoon garlic paste 1 green chilly chopped.Mix a little.Add 1 tspn turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon chilly powder , cumin-coriander powder, fennel powder, white and black pepper powder .Add ½ tspn kaju kishmish.Add dhaniyapata kuchi.Add ½ tspn sugar salt garam masala .Add the fish with potatoes OR Avocadoes.Mix the chops in round shaped balls oval or flatten .Give it a good mix.Take fish chop add in All purpose flour , add in egg and then bread crumbs. Put 10 minutes in freezer before frying . Then fry chops in 2 cups oil in a nonstick pan.Strain in paperetowel.
