SAAG CHICKEN-Traditional Indian Spinach and Chicken Curry with Indian Spices
400grams chicken {Cut into Cubes}
1 cup Extra Virgin Olive oil 2 tablespoon ghee
1teaspoon cumin seeds
2. 1 teaspoon turmeric
3 .2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
or 3 tspns Ginger -Garlic Powder
4 .2 teaspoons salt
5 .2 teaspoon cumin powder
6. 2 teaspoons coriander powder
2 teaspoons white pepper powder
2 teaspoons black pepper powder
1 teaspoon Garam Masala [Powder
7. 3-4 teaspoons yogurt well beaten (Optional or not Required)
3-4 Tspns Fenugreek leaves
2 -3 teaspons of fenugreek powder
METHOD :In a non stick wok add 2 sliced onions fry in oil .Cut two boxes of spinach boil for 15 minutes and then grind .In a pan add Olive oil and ghee with cumin seeds add the chicken and saute for five minutes. Add three teaspoon red chilly powder, 2 teaspoon cumin powder .Cover for five minutes .Add 2 yogurt and mix with the chicken. Remove cover two minutes and saute all the ingredients well. Add the spinach saute for five minutes .Uncover lid add 1 teaspoon with garam masala powder .Cover lid and close gas.
